I hate to say it, but besides produce Mariano's is a bust. Everything is expensive there. Pretty much like shopping at Jewel price wise. Even though I live about a mile from the one in Arlington Heights, we rarely if ever go there. It just isn't worth the hassle. We almost always only ever buy produce and its a zoo. The parking lot is dangerous (cars zooming in and out) there was actually a fire in the parking lot a couple of weeks ago and no one in the store knew what to do. Some cart kid was trying to stomp it out, while no one in the store thought to use the fire extinguishers?!?!

Really crazy. I love shopping at Dominicks, Meijers, Valli, Aldi and sometimes Jewel.

It's in Wilmette. You weren't expecting that it would be a bargain were you? Fresh Market is a chain, my Mum used to shop at the one in Greensboro, NC when she was a professor there. It's pretty good if you aren't into buying large amounts of food & it all looks so lovely.

Now a nice 1-2 would be to eat across the street at Akai Hana before you shop at Fresh Market.

Lunch plans at Akai Hana tomorrow so I guess I will hit Fresh Market instead of Fresh Farms afterwards.

I have to go to the one on Roosevelt tomorrow. Why is the garage so bad? Would it be preferable to take the el instead?
