Food porn hits the mainstream

There is a funny and a bit too true article in this month's Harper's discussing how the Food Network is really just a variant on pornography. The article is not available online yet however. If you get a chance, it's a worthwhile read. There is one type-o though. The host of Everyday Italian is described as eye-candy and I'm sure this was supposed to read extra-terrestrial instead.
