Hi- On one of the couponing blogs I post on, somebody was asking about the Bolingbrook farmer's market, and how good it was. Of course she did not get a response, because a lot of the people that visit Rachel's site, think that farmer's markets are too expensive, and why should I spend $3 for a pound of fresh picked asparagus, when I can get a pound of California asparagus at Pete's for $1.88 a pound. I am not familiar with the farmer's markets in that neighborhood at all. When I googled it, I got the impression that the market took place on Thursday evenings, and was managed by a company that has it set up similar to the French markets, where there is lots of arts and crafts and other non farmer's market related items for sale. That in itself makes me leery. AI occasionally go to the French market in Wilmette, and it leaves a lot to be desired. Is the Bolingbrook market any good? Are there any other markets in the area that are better? TIA, Nancy
