    Forum search yields tacquerias but no groceries that specifically mention this style of longaniza.

    I'm looking for entire links of preferably uncooked mexican-style longaniza that I will smoke at home. The second best option would be already smoked yucatan style longaniza.

    Appreciate your help!

    I certainly will not. I don't have a recipe so much as I'm trying to recreate a wonderful experience. I might find myself getting longaniza from each of those stores for side-by-side comparison.

    I'm trying to figure out what type of wood to use for smoking the longaniza.

    I spotted Mexican longaniza at Tony's in Niles yesterday afternoon.
    The package said both Great for the Grill and Remove from Casing Before Cooking.
    How does that work?
