We're at our wits ends trying to come up with something to equal past dinner/cocktail party themes, and one of the few ideas we've had is "Lost" (y'know, the TV show), with a dish for each major character.

    Some ideas include:
Locke: Pulled pork (he's the hunter after all)
Jin: Fish of some sort (I'm not an uni fan)
Claire: Something with a peanut butter sauce
    Hurley: Fried chicken
Sayeed: I can come up with some sort of middle eastern dish, perhaps kabobs with sharpened bambook skewers?
Sun: Something Korean with a lot of fresh herbs and veggies, like Bi Bim Bap?
    Shannon and Boone?
    Charlie? Something lip-'smack'ing?

I know I left a couple out too, but it's too early to think.

For Charlie, you've got to go with something with poppy seeds.

    JF:

I don't know the show beyond having seen some ads and don't know the characters at all, but I think you really ought to work into the menu somehow pain perdu.

    Shannon and Boone?

Cupcakes w/ bride/groom atop for dessert ? (he worked for the wedding planning company) Or something "spoiled" for Shannon ?

or maybe something with an incest/kissin' cousins theme. Any food scenes in "Deliverence" ? "Squeels like a pig", anyone :)
