I'm looking for a couple of loaves of brioche (not rolls). What bakery sells a good brioche loaf in Chicago? I'm thinking GNR Floriole might be the place, but I'm open to other suggestions.

In the "this means you can get it most everywhere" Whole Foods has a pretty good brioche loaf (unsliced) they sell. I get it fairly frequently. Although the prime reason I do is to make french toast, I've made sandwiches and it's a good all around loaf. Stays fairly fresh for a few days too.

Floriole does them on a specific day/days so call them I also think La Fournette has it as a loaf, but check.

You can order brioche at Cafe Selmarie, also.
