Post #1 - September 17th, 2015, 2:55 pmAnyone know a source for fish bones for stock? Also I see a lot of whole fish at the various Asian markets around town, but I am never sure if they will clean it for you. Anyone have any experience here? I guess I can always do it myself...

Post #2 - September 17th, 2015, 3:30 pmI know that Assi Plaza and H-Mart (different parts of Niles) sell fish heads pretty cheap. It's not the whole skeleton... but it can't hurt to ask. Go somewhere that does a lot of fish business and filets to order, and you may be able to say, "Hey, can I get the leftovers from the next six fish you filet?"What is patriotism, but the love of good things we ate in our childhood?
