I know that soursop fruit (a/k/a guabana or graviola) is sold in frozen pulp and canned juice form. Anyone know of a place that sells fresh fruit in the Chicagoland area?
What disease did cured ham actually have?

It's guanabana, for future searches. The fruit is popular in Caribbean countries and South America, but you are probably most likely to find it in SE Asian groceries. It's a common enough smoothie flavor at Viet places. You might stop by the stores on Argyle where I have seen it off and on. My favorite fruit, mostly because I grew up with it in FL. I hadn't read about its supposed cancer-fighting powers until the last few days. I assume its the next super fruit and in high demand.

Several times last summer I saw some at Angelo Caputo's in Elmwood Park and Cermak Fresh Market on Kedzie. Availability was pretty random with possibly several weeks between sightings.

What a coincidence. I was just in Taiwan and fell in love with soursop. It's maybe a bit too one dimensionally sweet, but it is damn tasty. I too would love to hear if anyone has seen it. As a frequenter of Argyle markets, I haven't noticed it there.

I've seen soursops at Tony's on Elston. There were some this past weekend.

I saw these at Fresh Farms on Touhy last weekend for $10.99/lb. I didn't buy any.
