Has anyone purchased passion fruit puree in the Chicagoland area recently? I'd love to know the stores that carry it.

There is an older thread titled "passionfruit" that primarily mentions some stores that seasonally carry the fruit; and nothing has been posted more recently than 2009 (I believe). I am interested only in the puree, so I've started this new thread.

Most of the stores that carry a good selection of Mexican and South American items carry frozen Goya (or other brand) fruit purees, including Passion Fruit which I have purchased. I've seen it all over - just check the freezer cases. It's a flat pack.

HarvesTime almost always has the Goya brand in the freezer case. There's another brand which I don't think is as good . . . can't remember the name at the moment.

Many thanks for the suggestions. I found some Goya passion fruit pulp at HarvestTime today. Now, I look forward to working with it.
