Post #1 - May 27th, 2017, 7:41 pmKinder Eggs are coming to the U.S. — legally. The hollow chocolate egg with the toy surprise inside has not been allowed in the states due to a 1930s law banning candy with non-food objects inside, though fans of the European treat have previously smuggled them in.

I never knew what I brought back from Europe was smuggling.
I have bought them at European oriented stores until just a few years ago. I think this 1930's law was ignored until someone pressed enforcement.
I am glad they are back.

Post #3 - May 30th, 2017, 6:40 amI remember a similar product being demonstrated on Shark Tank from Atlantic Candy Co. but their patent was set to expire soon and they didn't end up getting a deal.
