There are a few I'm very happy to see; others are questionable (Rachel Ray didn't start as a home cook, she did department-store demos. I'm not dissing her, I think she's done more positive things for cooking than, say, Guy Fieri [that seems like a low bar, but on the shows where he cooks, he can cook]).What is patriotism, but the love of good things we ate in our childhood?
