Smoked turkey legs in the Evanston area?

Post #1 - November 19th, 2018, 2:13 pmHi- Whole Foods used to have some wonderful smoked turkey legs, but they quit carrying them. I picked up some decent ones at Treasure Island last year, but that is not an option. I've also gotten decent ones at Paulina market, but I was hoping for some place closer to Evanston. Is there any place within five miles of Evanston that has decent ones. I am leery of the ones at Jewel, Valli and Mariano's. Are they any good? How about Zier meat? Do they have them? Thanks, Nancy

Post #2 - November 19th, 2018, 2:48 pmI don't think Zier's does any smoked turkeys other than whole. You could call and ask them, though.
Maybe Hecky's? (not necessarily recommending, just thinking out loud).
