That’s an interesting idea. Why didn’t I think of that? Thanks!

If you want it assembled, you have to pick it up at the store. But I don’t know how I’d get it in and out of my car. I’m less than a mile from the store, and I’ve even thought about wheeling the damn thing home.

If you have the store assemble it, you might also look into bungii.com for delivery, which is kind of like Uber with pick up trucks and the driver will load and unload for you. (I haven't used it.) If it was less than a mile, I'd probably wheel it home.

Update: Whereas last year it seemed that you could either get it assembled or delivered, but not both, this year Lowe’s will assemble and deliver without extra charge. So I decided patience was the better part of virtue on this matter, and the grill will come next weekend.

Now if only it will stop raining.

    1. Go to Abt.com
    2. Fire up the chat window.
    3. Start with "I'm looking for a grill."
    4. They'll take over from there.
    5. Next day a shiny new assembled grill will show up at your door and they'll put it where you want it.
5.b if it applies - they'll haul away your old one.
    6.Fire up the puppy.
    Done.

Would totally do that if I hadn’t already bought it at Lowe’s! I’ve always had good experience with Abt.

FYI, Amazon is offering free in-home assembly with a Weber Grill purchase. Not sure if it's today only (purchase, not assembly).

I know I'm sounding like a total Abt junkie, but I'm pretty sure they'll match that offer and you'll get a delivery and assembly from a well-trained person who will be careful and know their stuff. I have no clue who Amazon would send.
