    Looking to buy these locally.

    This style of hotdog also came across my radar and while I have a strong recollection of seeing them here but I cannot for the life of me remember.

    The ‘red’ comes from the heavy use of die

    The ‘snapper’ comes from the natural casing.

    Popular in the state of Maine where it is served on a lobster roll (top split bun) and a simple line of mustard although I have seen it with a line of ketchup or grilled chopped onions.

    Talk to the guys at Acadia. They were talking about these last time I visited.

    I should clarify, they were talking about them because they had sold out. They serve these on the menu as a special from time to time.
