How to cook dried squid/calamary/octopus ?

Does anyone have the recipe for cooking dried squid(including reconstitue the dried squid to become soft) ?

Whole, dried squid should be soaked for about 24 hours. Great sliced into pieces and added to a stir-fry.

..... unless you are using it as a base for a rice dish, in which case I would not soak it (or use too much) ....
