I got this msg today from Continental Sausage. I've dealt with them many times in the past, having things shipped to KC (including the blutwurst). So far as I'm concerned, these guys make the best, most authentic, German wurst I've ever had in the US. And they know what they're doing re: shipping. Soooo, here they are.

It is that time of year again! Continental Sausage will be producing our famous Swiss Blutwurst and Kochleberwurst for orders to be shipped on Monday, February 27th or Tuesday, February 28th. As was the case in years past, orders will be processed on a first come - first serve basis. We will take orders on our NEW website online catalog at
http://www.continentalsausage.com. You can also order by phone, fax, or email until we are completely sold out. Last year, we sold out in 2 days. Both the Kochleberwurst and Swiss Blutwurst are selling for $5.75 per pound. There are 4 pieces per pound/package. If you would like to order additional items by replying to this email, please include the product name, quantities, and specific instructions (sliced or in one piece). This will probably be the last time this winter we will produce these specialty Blutwurst, so get them while supplies last.
