Since I found out that Chicagoans can purchase Mexican 7-up in the U.S., I wondered if anyone has ever seen these:
Veronas cookies by Gamesa.
The cookies are just regular round crumbly cookie type outside and filled with gooey chocolate inside. They sometimes come in a chocolate/cookie swirl outside with gooey chocolate inside. They are about 2" across and come 3 to an individual package. There are about 6 or so packs of 3 in a box.
The second item is a candy called:
Choco-retas made by Ricolino.
They are small pea sized candies that have a crunchy (like M & M's) lime green outside coating and chocolate mint inside. They come in 45 gram small bags or sometimes larger. They remind us of mint chocolate M & M's, but better, if that makes any sense.
It's another item we crave when we return from Mexico. Anyone ever seen them anywhere?
