    Hello,

I am thinking about getting my father a couple of lessons in Italian cooking (which is something he's said he always wanted to try). I'm thinking of either a one-session class, or at most a 3-5 session class. Nothing designed for professionals, but also not something too fluffy. (I once went to a class at the Chopping Block that was more of a bunch of people sitting at a bar talking while the instructor made something, not really a class.)

Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? He's good cook, and I think he just wants to learn some new recipes, have fun, perhaps learn some techniques.

    Thanks,

I have not taken the classes but the chef at A Tavola offers a single-session class.
