    just had wonderfull wild mushroom ravioli at jukebox charlies
    in fond du lac. in a garlic butter sauce, that i can probably
    figure out how to make. the problems where do i get the
    ravioli. i'm taking a wild quess they were from cisco or some
    other industry source ( i'm sure they were not made in house).
    any ideas in the chicago area would be worth a phone call

    Ravioli's not that tough to make .. dough from flour, water, maybe some egg, roll it out, put in some filling, fold it over, seal it ... you've got ravioli.

    You could even use egg roll or wonton wrappers - available at almost any grocery - instead of making your own dough.

    The tough part would be getting the wild mushrooms, if you want to use fresh ... but a lot of the better farmers' markets have 'em. Or go with dried mushrooms - you can spend a ton for them at the supermarket, or get a lot for relatively little at a market in Chinatown or on Argyle Street.

    I was going to do a pasta salad with various wild mushroom ravioli for the LTH picnic last Sunday, btu I didn't have time, so I just did a stuffed mushroom.
