Much obliged, G Wiv.
In an effort to be a pioneer, we stopped about midway between Sanabel and Salam, when I spotted a Middle Eastern grocer that had signage for falafel, hummus, and Baba, on the W side of Kedzie. Forgot the name, but it was tiny. Falafel were 25c each, sitting under a heat lamp, and they were out of Baba g, so, we got back in the sled and hit up Salam. Always solid. Tabouleh and baba g were fantastic, and the price was right on. The tabouleh, though, I think it stole the show - fresh and lightly spiced, perfect amount of lemon juice, not quite to the point of tangy. Might have been the best I've ever had, even though it's just a simple, silly thing.
We cannot be friends if you do not know the difference between Mayo and Miracle Whip.
