I found it at the Dominicks in Lake Zurich. I bought three containers and left two, only because those last two were so far back on the top shelf that I couldn't reach them.

I had ice cream at Oberweis tonight and Key Lime was one of the special flavors offered. I didn't try it because I can never get past their superb vanilla, but it would be an interesting comparison for someone to put it up against the B&J product.

I bought it today at the Dominicks on Dundee in Palatine. There were 3 left, and I bought the one w/o the freezer burn. I also bought the Ciao Bella Key Lime Gelato. I just tried a small spoon of each. The key lime is definitely more pronounced in the gelato, as you would expect. The pie crust in the B&J was more like traditional pie crust, whereas the gelato has graham cracker crumbs. Both very very good!

Dominick's at Damen & Chicago now have it too. It's toward the bottom.

Spotted a pint of B&J's Key Lime at the Dominick's on Howard and Clark. There might have been more, but the one I found was on the top shelf and I'm height-challenged. I look forward to trying it later after a day of biking and volleyball.

I got the B&J at the Dominick's on Clybourn, they stock Ciao Bella but didn't have the Lime.

Huzzah! Success! This stuff is the shiznit. It really does taste like key lime pie! I also picked up a light chocolate raspberry, just because I love that combination, so I hope the low-fat version is tasty. If only the pints weren't $4.59, yikes.

    Thanks for the tip, sarcon!

This flavor is back for a limited time according to the Ben & Jerry's website. I found 2 pints of this at the WF in Palatine.

Hi- I just had to tell everybody about my fantastic find at Dominick's today. The Dominick's on Dempster and Dodge in Evanston, had Ben and Jerry's Key Lime Pie ice cream for sale today. To top it off, it was on sale for $1.99 a pint if you buy a minimum of 3 pints. You can also mix and max this with Breyer's and some other ice creams. I only bought one pint of key lime pie IC because it is not low fat, and I just wanted to try it. I ended up buying an additional 3 pints of Ben and Jerry's frozen yogurt. When I went to check out, I had a checkout coupon for $1.50 off
4 pints of Ben and Jerry's which I gave them. As I was leaving the store, I looked at the new checkout coupons I was given. I received a checkout coupon for $1.50 off 3 pints of Ben and Jerry's, and I also received a $2 coupon to be used on my next shopping trip, courtesy of Ben and Jerry's! Ben and Jerry's is on sale through 7/28, but it has been on sale frequently this summer at Dominick's for $1.99 if you buy 4 pints. They probably had about 8 pints of the key lime pie flavor left when I bought mine. Hope this helps, Nancy

Hi- I suspect that most of the Dominick's stores have the Key Lime Pie flavor. I think that Dominick's is selling more Breyer's ice cream, because you get three times as much ice cream for the same amount of money. I don't know if you get any checkout coupons though when you purchase the Breyer's.

I just tried the key lime pie IC, and it was actually good. I only had two spoonfuls of the stuff though, because it is loaded with fat, which I am not supposed to have.

FYI- Rolf's Patisserie in Lincolnwood has Key Lime Pie to die for. There is a very pronounced lime taste in the pie. WF also carries this pie in the summer. It is not cheap though. I believe it is around $20 at WF. It is a few dollars cheaper at the bakery on Touhy.

    Hope this helps, Nancy

Definitely no gelatin and I haven't seen any flavors that contain gelatin. Which one(s) are you referring to?

I can tell you it's awesome. That & their Malted Milk Ball are their two flavors that I could eat in a single sitting (well, maybe in two separate sittings).

Ciao Bella's Malted Milk Ball is up there with the best ice cream I have had anywhere. I agree though, the Key Lime is also great.

Not Key Lime, alas, but the Haagen Dazs Five line has a lemon ice cream that is taking up the space in my freezer once reserved for Key Lime. I don't miss the graham-cracker bits at all. There is tiny bit of lemon peel that adds a textural element that is less distracting. And it's good smoothed into a graham-cracker crust with a few berries on top as dessert for a group. Nothing unusual, but very good, very easy.

I still haven't tried it, I've looked on and off for years and in fact, I was *just* telling people about this the other day, it's almost become mythical in my eyes.
