Standard Market (I shop occasionally at the one in Westmont) has a few good deals, but their prices are a bit higher than Whole Foods most of the time. I'm always looking for the sale items in the butcher shop.
Their smoked salmon is really good, and at $20 a pound typically, it's less expensive than (and better than) the packaged smoked salmon you can buy at most grocery stores. Their deli counter items are very good, their bread is the best in the area (I'd love to find other good bakery options around that part of the west burbs) and I also am really fond of their pre-made chicken pot pies and shepard's pies (around $7 or $8 each if I recall correctly).
