    Hey Everyone...

I had to order a gift basket as a thank you for some really excellent service I got for my firm today and I found myself wandering all over the Web trying to decide what was really the right choice. Does anyone have any experience with the ubiquitous "gift basket" that's worthy of passing along to the group? I'm looking of course for the gift that's a bit more than a bunch of cookies in a tin -- or perhaps EXCEPTIONAL cookies in a tin -- something that really makes the person receiving it feel special. I ended up going with a snack selection from Fox & Obel -- I like going local whenever possible and I wanted a wide selection for a diverse group of people. I contemplated Zingerman's and Dean and Deluca and Zabar's as well but I found myself waffling to and fro.

    Any stories? Recommendations? Condemnations? Exultations?

Aren't you all glad it's Friday?

    Thanks!

    Shannon

The Chocolate Box, filled with hand-made chocolates, or the similar chocolate Yule Log, from Belgian Chocolatier Piron have gone over well.
