Ok, so I am on a bit of a posting tear today, sorry, but just cannot get motivated to work.

So after seeing the whole meat grinding process last weekend my mind started turning and wandering. Early on I dismissed the idea of grinding my own hamburger meat as it may not be worth my effort. However, later on it dawned on me I could throw in some of my favorites that I incorporate into my meat already. Everything to chipotles to blue cheese. I have gone back and forth on what would happen to say a blue cheese ground beef in a flame, but I still think it would work.

    Anyone ever dabble in this?

I've never ground my own meat. But, I do love to chop up some maytag blue, shallots and peppercorns along withn the preground meat that i buy for burgers when I make them at home. I sear them on a bed of grey salt in a nonstick pan. A most excellent burger.

    Oh you evil people!!

Sadly, words fail me. Your brilliant ideas force me to acknowledge the immortal words of R Ray: "YUM-OH!"
