It's clear that we have numerous folks in the forum who are very knowledgeable about Thai food, so I thought this might be the place I'd finally get a dish identified.
Last time I was in Thailand, there was a dish I ran into at breakfast (only) at three different hotels, in different towns, but all in northern Thailand. It was a curry-type dish, but the main ingredients were chicken, turnips, and cinnamon. Anyone know what the dish is called? Anyone have a recipe for it? I loved it and ate it everywhere it was served, but I've never seen it even described anywhere else (though, if it is essentially a breakfast dish, that would make sense, as I've never eaten breakfast in a Thai restaurant in the U.S.).
Let me know if you know.
Thanks.
