My company regularly gives out gift baskets to employees as appreciation gifts for anniversaries, holiday parties, etc. Recently our regular vendor changed ownership and so far we have not been impressed with the new service. We'd like to explore other options and I was hoping some of you may have some recommendations.

Typically the gift baskets we send contain food items and either wine or sparkling cider. Our typical price range is $45 - $125 per basket. I'm hoping to find a vendor based locally (suburbs ok) with great service (prompt response/turnaround on orders) and creativity. Thanks in advance for any help/recs you can provide!

ETA: Just to clarify further - we're looking for a service that assembles the baskets to order rather than buying pre-assembled baskets as we typically have personalized cards and monetary gifts that we add to the baskets.

I received a beautiful basket from Chicago Chocolate Company on Randolph this last Christmas. It didn't contain any alcohol (I don't drink very much, and the person sending the basket knew it), but it was a great selection of hand assembled chocolaty/desserty items.

I've used Fox & Obel in the past for gift baskets. I don't know if they'd be able to handle your additions, but I'm sure a phone call would answer that.

My BTB and I bought a few baskets from Cabernet and Co. in Naperville for the holidays. The prices were very reasonable and being able to hand select the included wines was a nice touch. You can also add additional items like cheeses, books, crackers, wine openers, etc.
