Although passionfruit juice is easily found, and its frozen puree is available in some latino markets, I've never found the actual fruit. I got used to having a halved passionfruit or two with my breakfast most mornings in Vietnam, and the mix of colors and textures found in the raw, unprocessed fruit was part of the pleasure.
Hopefully, I'm just not looking in the right place. Has anyone seen the fruit in a market here in Chicago?
