Farmers will set up stands from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. outside the McGaw YMCA near downtown Evanston starting July 11.
The same farmers will move to the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St., where they'll be in operation from 3 to 6:30 p.m. through Sept. 5. Fresh fruits and vegetables, cut flowers and potted plants will be available.
The Ridgeville Park District is hosting a farmers market at 908 Seward St. Farmers will set up stands on the ball courts at the southeast corner of the park, from 4 to 8 p.m., from now through Sept. 26. There will be no market July 4th. Ridgeville Park is walking distance to the South Boulevard 'L' and the Main Street Metra and 'L' stations.
And, the popular City of Evanston Farmers' Market continues every Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. through November 3. with more than 30 vendors of fruit, vegetables, meat, flowers, cheese and bakery items. The market is located at the intersection of University Place and Oak Avenue. Free parking is available in the Maple Avenue Parking Garage.
