Post #1 - July 30th, 2007, 4:26 pmI was at Dominick's in Arlington Heights the other night and was surprised to spot hog casings in the meat department. This seems like an unexpected source.
Has some upsurge in sausage making caused it to go mainstream or are there just a lot of people in this vicinity asking for casings?

Post #2 - July 31st, 2007, 7:44 pmThe Dominicks in Oak Park stocks hog casings too. For at least the past three years. Not the greatest quality, but okay in a pinch.
