I know that Bennison's in Evanston used to make Atomic Cakes...maybe they sell slices?

No idea if they sell by the slice and the only locations are in the northern burbs (Deerfield, Buffalo Grove, Schaumburg) but if you're really craving, worth a call. The BG store has a café so maybe they sell slices.
