Trying to find a Chicago source for kukui nuts, a mandatory ingredient when making Hawaiian poke, a raw fish salad. Any thoughts?

looked it up and apparently candlenuts are the same. i'm practically positive i've seen prepacked candlenuts at the many asian stores in uptown around broadway and argyle.

And I always thoght that candlenuts were the same as Brazil nuts.

Wikipediia, though, confirms that kukuis are candlenuts.

Thanks for all the kind assistance. Some other poke recipes I have seen specify ground up macadamia nuts rather than kukuis, so it may be an easy substitute that is quite easy to find as well. Plus, I can gorge on the extra nuts that are not used in the recipe.
