I saw Ficoco posted in wholefoods flyer for Oct. and was intrigued to try it. This stuff is great its like nutella with figs instead of hazelnut. So far only tried it on toast and with vanilla ice cream and it went great with both. Ficoco is imported from Crotia and to my knowledge the only spread available thats figs combined with cocoa.

no, but that sounds fabulous - i will definitely be on the lookout for it. we did buy a fig and hazelnut spread when we were recently in croatia, but we haven't opened it up yet. now i'm anxious to.

This may sound strange, but it sounds to me like it would be a good addition to a cheese platter. I like fig jam or quince jam with cheese, also maple butter (like apple butter, not butter-with-maple) with brie, so it could be good.

it does sound like it might work especially with some of the softer white cheeses? Ficoco is not overpoweringly sweet so I think it would go with a variey of foods. I have only tried on toast and with ice cream so far.
