Anyone know any specific ice cream brands with a yellow-ish french vanilla with teeny black vanilla flecks in it?

Breyer's is too white. Gotta be yellow-y.

    Think local!

Traders Point Creamery Vanilla ice cream is about as good as it gets, yellow too.

Thanks! It's more for art purposes than eating (although I've heard Trader's Point is very good...actually thinking of making a field trip to Zionsville).

Are you sure it's yellow, and not white-ish? With flecks? (I realize it's ridiculously specific, but please humor me...)

If it's for art purposes only, it's easy to make. Mix Crisco with powdered sugar, add a bit of annato, and mix in coarsely-ground pepper. When I was at Dean Foods, I had to convince soooo many photographers not to do this.
