    Today on "The Wasted Food Blog" there is a brief interview with Matt Jennings, a New England-based cheesemonger of note. In this interview, he provides some basic shopping, care, and storage tips for cheese. It's a useful little piece.

    Another tidbit for those who like booklets of food info... Dominick's had these "Cheese Passports" available near their gourmet cheese case by the deli section. The passports include several journal pages to jot down various cheeses you've tried and also has lots of tips on storing, purchasing, serving and pairing cheese. Along side of these passports, there were also spiral bound cookbooks dedicated to cheeses. Both these items were complimentary/free.
