does anybody know where I can still buy this bagged snack food? A mom and pop store near me had them until this summer and then they disappeared. I am really jonesing for this snack which was a 1" sandwich of waffle shaped crackers with a tasty cheddar tasting filling. I will even buy in bulk if I have to!!!
    thanks

Those Cheese Waffles were made by Wise Snacks, a division of Borden. As this is a Lays/Jays market, I do not think that you are going to see them around here much.

Here is a link where you can purchase them on-line:

I have never used the vendor so I cannot vouch to their service.

If that does not work out for you, contact me via e-mail as I might have a way to get some for you (several uncles are in the snack food industry).

I don't know if it will help you but they have them at
Norwood Drugs 6165 N. Northwest Highway
    773-631-5333
    But definately phone first.
Also I've seen them at grocery stores but they come
in a white box, Old Londen product I believe.
I like the cartoon little beatnik guy with the horn and
singing? skat on TV in the ads late 50's early 60s.
