    All -

Searched for a thread on this and yielded nothing.

Went to Stanley's earlier this week and they have opened their expansion to their Deli counter (actually weren't serving yet, but the room is open with meat in case). Looks like a nice addition to the place.

They also had this cool machine that makes potato chips live on the spot. Think Krispy Kreme style robotics. Potatoes ar eloaded into a feeder, a rotating mandolin style cuttoer slices off a piece and it drops into a flowing river of peanut oil around a small track and come out the other side. Then they flavor and bag them on the spot.

Neat little gizmo. I had the Ranch chips and overall they were pretty good.

Glad to see the deli expansion.

Where in the store is this new deli located? Is it through what used to be the garage-door-like thing that led to the storage area? Or is it in the area where the fridge case & bottle-your-own olive oil tanks were? I haven't been in a couple months, and am trying to picture it.

A couple of coworkers were talking about it, and said it's pretty cool...maybe I should just check it out for myself, huh? :)

    Thanks for the info!

The new deli at Stanely's is at the SE corner of the store. More importantly, the deli serves exclusively Dietz & Watson products, which, for those unfamiliar, are similar in quality to Boar's Head. REB and I like the D&W London Broil Roast Beef. It comes med rare and is very good for deli meat.

An employee told me that they also have plans to start making sandwiches in the next week or so.
