...and I'm a geek, so Pie Dude and I are inviting some equally geeky friends over to watch the anniversary show Saturday night. This event requires some form of rubber chicken dessert, like cupcakes or large cookies. We only need 6-12 pieces. Where might I find a bakery to do this with short notice?

And if anyone knows of a chicken- or vampire-related beer or wine without having to travel too far, that would be much appreciated.

    Bleh!

Perhaps someone has an idea where one could find some Vampire Vodka...

    Or maybe some Blavod?

Yahoo Answers suggests Devil's Food Cake, Devilled Eggs, and Bloody Marys.

You could always just order anything from a bakery in Berwyn (BERWYN!!!).

La Vieille Ferme Cotes-du-Luberon Blanc has chickens on the label. Easily available at Sams Wine, but, maybe even a major grocery store. I think even Trader Joe's has a version with a chicken on the label about $8/bottle. http://www.lavieilleferme.com/blanc.php?langue=en

There is a history of brewing beer with old, tough chickens. Maybe you could get some of this. (warning: link to suggestively-named beer.)

Oh, write and tell us how the party went! I love Svengoolie. I often wonder if I would recognize him on the street. Have you ever gotten one of his tee shirts? :)

With a quick web search, it appears as if Binny's has a few of their varientals "widely available"

What about the Mexican brand of "chicken-flavored" lollipos ("Pollito Alvbro"). I use the term "chicken-flavored" lightly. You can find them at the Dulcelandia stores (the one closest to me is at Irving and Kimball but there are a bunch of others.

No, but Pie Dude has—the one with the giant glow-in-the-dark chicken attacking the city. Priceless!

    You could always serve drumsticks...

Apparently there's a mixed drink called a rubber chicken.
