    HI,

The way I use a cutting board, those cups would be a nuisance.

I place my cutting board over the small bowl of a double-sink. As I peel and trim, the discards go over the edge into the sink. The slice, minced or chopped stuff either goes into a work bowl or into a pot or frying pan. Once I am done, most of the vegetable debris goes into compost container. If anything falls down the sink, the garbage disposal takes care of it.

At the end of day, the cutting board goes into the dishwasher for cleaning.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

i have a similar board (2 longer cups, one on each end of the board) and while it is slightly handy the cups actually don't hold enough.

    maybe i'm doing it wrong.

It's not a bad idea, but as others have said the bowls seem kind of small. I'm also very used to lifting the board over the bowl to easily dump whatever I've cut into it, I wouldn't be able to do that with this set up. The more I look at it the more it seems like the sort of thing I would buy, thinking it was a great idea, only to sell at a yard sale within a year.
