I'm in the mood to do some baking and I need superfine sugar. A couple of months ago, I bought a large bag at Costco but they haven't had it since. I'm going into the city tomorrow to do my Graziano, etc. shopping. Any places that I can buy larger bags? These small ones are really pricey.

I always see and buy the superfine sugar at Costco. Once in a blue moon, they might be temporarily out of stock. I can't remember the brand name off the top of my head b/c I always transfer it into my own container. I was just at the Schaumburg Costco, and they definitely had it last night.

Maybe I'll try a Costco in the city. They haven't had it in Naperville for several months.

if you spin your sugar in the food processor for 2 minutes you will have superfine sugar. there's really no reason to buy it. justjoan

I agree and have done just that. However, I find the superfine more convenient when I'm doing lots of baking.
