La Petite Sweet - Westmont, IL

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying this bakery on Cass in Westmont. Looking for places to visit when I am in the area for car washes and service at my dealership. It is a family run bakery and cafe. On my visit, i tried french toast. I defenitley enjoyed, fluffy, eggy vanilla taste. I also eyed some other things on the menu like made in house biscuits and gravy.

Now onto the bakery, I took home a pretzel croissant. I must say i was impressed. Very slight crunch on the outside, flaky and soft inside with a distinct, but not overpowering pretzel taste. I thought a near perfect croissant with a nice twist.

Pretzel croissant, not something I've encountered, nor traditional, but something I'd like to try, and soon.
