I was possessed by a dessert-baking impulse today-- now I know why. I baked off some gingersnaps from an odd bit of dough that I found in the freezer, plus a chocolate crust for banana cream pie, same source. I also made the poppyseed bars from the Fine Cooking special issue Cookies, Brownies, Bars and More (http://store.taunton.com/onlinestore/it ... 52043.html).
