For instance, mix up the dry ingredients for a batch of brownies, add the appropriate amount of chocolate as necessary in a separate bag, and give in a baking pan.
I'm looking for some advice on making my own chile powder - I used up the batch a friend brought us from Santa Fe. Since it's easy to find the dried peppers in our grocery stores, I'd like suggestions as to a nice combo that I could do in batches. It's a lot easier to use a powder than to make up a batch from scratch each time I want to add a nice punch to my weeknight stews and soups

The mix I had was marked only "hot chile molido". What do you like together? (I don't plan to gift this, just use it myself
