Today we visited the Geneva Winter Market which is held every Saturday from 9 to 1 in the Inglenook Pantry Restaurant on North 5th Street. Among the goodies like squash, cabbages, greens and cheese there is a vendor selling Berkshire Hog products. I bought 2 chops but it will be awhile before we chip the grill out before I try them. However, this guy also raises pasture raised chickens, semi-grass fed Angus Shorthorn cattle as well as the grass fed hogs. He comes to the market but you can visit his farm in Marengo.

Supposed to be about 50 degrees by the end of the week so maybe you'll be at those chops sooner than you thought!
