Post #1 - February 12th, 2011, 12:47 pmToday we visited the Geneva Winter Market which is held every Saturday from 9 to 1 in the Inglenook Pantry Restaurant on North 5th Street. Among the goodies like squash, cabbages, greens and cheese there is a vendor selling Berkshire Hog products. I bought 2 chops but it will be awhile before we chip the grill out before I try them. However, this guy also raises pasture raised chickens, semi-grass fed Angus Shorthorn cattle as well as the grass fed hogs. He comes to the market but you can visit his farm in Marengo.
