Much is being made over Prince Williams' love of Chocolate Biscuit Cake. Sounds intriguing but honestly we have Chocolate Wafer Cake here that is so so good
and a snap to make. I remember my mom making it when I was a child and it was a top favorite. If you have not made it, take a look at this link and maybe give it a whirl. This is a more elaborate method of stacking, the original recipe is more like a log and easier to make. Made with fresh real whipped cream, placed in plastic wrap and chilled overnight or for several good hours, the cookies turn into a cake like texture.

Must have Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafers to make.

Agreed, no disrespect to the Windsors, I'm sure Prince William is a dedicated foodie and his palate is impeccable, but pretty much anything labeled as an 'icebox' cake utilizes the process of refrigerating cookies in a cake.

I've made this Martha Stewart icebox cake around the holidays.
