I know nothing about this event except that a promo popped up in my email yesterday but it looks like a lot of interesting local food sources are participating:

    Ms Mint's Holiday Bazaar
    Grossinger City Autoplex
    1530 N. Dayton St.
    (at North & Clybourn)
    Friday, December 16: 3-8pm
    Saturday, December 17: 11-6pm

I'm going to wander over at some point when I can take a work break ... some of the vendors are intriguing (detroit vodka? "naughty ginger" lollipops? hmmm )

Bad form replying to my own but ...

Took a break from work to go over to this and there were some neat food gift items including the Soup and Bread Cookbook, interesting hot sauces and a delicious hot cocoa mix from Salted Caramel with Stout marshmallows ...

The Sono burger bar folks are cooking as are Franks n' Dawgs and Jo Snow's Syrups will make you a root beer ... I had fun in a rather surprising location and came home with most of my holiday shopping done from nice local vendors.

Just returned from a day at this Bazaar.
It was amazing! I am trying to assemble some gifts for folks who don't live in the Midwest and this was the perfect place for me to be today. I did very very well.
Thanks so much Siun for posting!

If you have a calendar, I highly recommend putting in a reminder for this time next year to watch for this event.
Wonderful, articulate vendors, all of similar mind and great great products.
I plan on watching for it myself, so I will definitely bump this next year (G_d willing.)

    Very well done.
    Kudos to Ms. Mint!!

Glad you liked it too ...as I looked over my purchases today I was pleased at what treats are produced locally ... It's really impressive and the vendors were all really enjoyable to deal with.

Yes, not to beat a dead horse:
Besides being quite pleased with the products purchased, that was the part that stayed with me:
the vendors were all so great. Articulate, non-aggressive, happy, patient, generous. And very like-minded.
    Great-great group of people.

I am headed to the Sunday Logan Square Market this morning (Congress Theater 10-2).....
never would have known about it if I did not go to the Ms. Mint Bazaar.
Thanks again for your original post, appreciate it!!!
