Elawa Farm Organic Garden Market, Lake Forest

This is one of our favorite places to go for a walk, but never went to the market.

We stopped for the first time on Tuesday. A couple of great lettuces, beautiful kale, chard, turnips, and a few other items, along with fresh flowers.

Gale Gand is their chef who bakes various deserts and prepares some other things (dressings, soups, granola). We bought a blueberry apricot pie that was phenomenal.

We will make this a regular stop, made easier by being open three days per week.
