    I hate unitasker gadgets, but the the price, I might actually consider such a thing.

    I got hooked on breakfast sandwiches a few years ago, and I'll regularly make them for lunch at home, but I do the egg in the microwave thing (cooked in a greased small pyrex bowl and they're the perfect size). But they're just not as good as the fast-food or frozen ones*. Hmm...

    * I don't think I've ever before utter the words "they're just not as good as the fast-food or frozen ones."

    Try adding a small amount of butter to the dish before nuking. That should add some good taste.
