Post #1 - August 5th, 2013, 8:40 amThe Vision Kamado cooker is now $399 in Costco stores, was originally $650. The South Loop had 4 as of Friday, the Lincoln Park store is sold out.
Compares to a Big Green Egg at a bargain price. I got one and my experience has ben very favorable.

If I can find one of those Kamodos at that price, I might take the plunge.We cannot be friends if you do not know the difference between Mayo and Miracle Whip.

Post #3 - August 5th, 2013, 9:08 amOnly had the Vision Kamado for a few days and have not smoked on it, but from what I have heard it is as easy as it is on a WSM.
The key will be what you are after. Vision can smoke and grill well, but is limited by size as a smoker. WSM has plenty of space and smokes very well, but grilling is such a hassle I wouldn't consider it as an option.
I have both + a Weber Performer so I have all my bases covered.
