A large number of local chefs have gotten together to support immigrant and refugee communities. Their mission statement starts by stating that "Immigrants and refugees working in this country shouldn’t be questioned about their character; their skin color, perceived religious identity and nationality are not cause for concern." People who wish to support this mission are being asked for a $50 donation in return for which they will receive two pints of soup and some bread. All of the money raised goes to help others.
