Hi- I noticed that the book Love Real Food is the top seller right now in the vegetarian cookbook category. Does anyone own the book? I previewed the book on Amazon yesterday, and at least half of her recipes call for coconut oil, which I am not a big fan of. It is loaded with saturated fat.

Amazon currently has a code for $5 off $20 worth of books that expires tonight. The code is GIFTBOOK17. It can not be used on digital books. If you are not a member of Prime, you have to make a $25 purchase to get free shipping. I think I am going to get America's Test Kitchen's new cookbook called Nutritious Delicious. It lists 50 super foods, and tells you how to prepare them. I previewed the book on Amazon, and it looks super. Hope this helps, Nancy

Nancy, just FYI, the book 'Love Real Food' is available at both Evanston and Skokie libraries. I always like to really examine a cookbook before buying.

Hi- It is checked out at the Evanston library. I do go past the Wilmette and Winnetka library at least once a month, and it is checked out of those libraries too I know I could get it through interlibrary loan. Evanston used to charge for interlibrary loan, but they dropped the charge a few years ago.

I do often check out cookbooks from the library before I purchase them. I currently have the book Complete Cooking for Two by ATK. They have just come out with a hardcover version of it, and I thought I might ask for it for Christmas. I finally got around to looking at the book last night, and I don't know if I would use it that much. They have some recipes for two that call for half a can of tomatoes. What do I do with the other half of the can?

Amazon just had a $5 off coupon for books for Black Friday, and so I bought the book Nutritious Delicious by ATK. After I ordered it, I looked at it at Barnes and Noble, and I am not sure how much I would use it. I also looked at Moosewood Restaurant's latest book that came out a few months ago, and I am not sure how much I would use that one too. I do have several of their other cookbooks that I use occasionally as well as Enchanted Broccoli Forest and the
Moosewood cookbook by Mollie Katzen that I enjoy. Thanks, Nancy
